BOY SCOUT TROOP "1"
Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Troop '1' welcomes you, your Scout and your family to the wonderful and critically important world of Scouting.
Our meetings are held on Monday evenings from 7:00pm 9:00pm and all are invited.
Troop '1' was founded in 1917. This Troop was originally known as Troop '1' because it was the first troop founded in this part of the state. Years later, all scout troops were given a three digit number: nevertheless, out of respect for the proud tradition of this Troop, it is still often affectionately referred to as Troop '1'.
You only have to look at the world and community in which we live today to realize that the goals and virtues of Scouting are needed now more than ever. With strong and enthusiastic family support, Troop '1' will help your son or daughter to be a better person and will help make our community a better place to live. Visit Scouting.org for more information about scouting. Please feel free to contact the Troop through the FPC church office.
